the wedding was a blast because we all danced our heels off + jasmyn looked stunning!

we ate our way through about eight courses :)
beautiful weather that day.
great vibrant atmosphere.
and before we all started dancing, we were like:
"i'll dance if youu dance!"
"me too, i'll dance if you dance!"
"are you dancing?"
"i dont know.. i'll dance if they dance"
"okay. now?"
it was good eric kicked our dancing off because he was probably the best dancer out of all of us.
kudos, big cousin.
haha, at one point, me, carlvin & valerie pushed stephen (our cousin) into the circle that we made on the dancefloor - sooo fun! but on the way we pushed a woman.. uh sorry lady.. it was an accident.
oh, and the drunk uncles came into the middle and pulled off a few oldie moves (uhh!).
carlvin rocked the dancefloor with his handstands, but stephen's dad did a headstand {!}.
little jordan busted his moves for a plethora of times :)
OH & the photographer (who's apparently a family friend) danced non-stop. his pretty good too =]

first two thousand & ten post
at the moment i am posting this post via the internet from my hotel at cairns. it's nice here, i quick getaway from the bustling hubbub in old melbourne town. the sound of the music here is so relaxing, easing me from the anxieties i had back in victoria.
from the nineteenth of dec until of late, i've just been having good old fashioned quality family time. and that doesn't just go for immediate family, it goes out to my extended as well. pretty much seeign cousins everyday, playing monopoly, cluedo and computer boggle. the bonding was GOOD.

family christmas eve party, watched planet 51 & a bit of avatar (the last airbender)

went to vivian's/valerie's and watched a movie with them, went to see lights with them in burwood at around nine or ten. the display was spectacular. mickey mouse, donald duck and a penguin came out (suited people), took photos in the fake sleigh. went to yumcha around ten @ glenny (uncle shouted cus he felt like yumcha haha O_O).

caiome and jordan came over, walked my dog and showered him too.

caiome and jordan came over yet again, swam at the pool. caiome is a surprisingly good swimmer for a 4yearold. she also sat and observed babies (her specialty LOL). me and jordan swam up and down the lane pools, him on my back cus it was too deep for him (im liek a seahorse :)). later, about 10-11pm, went to pick up long lost grand aunty and uncle from airport.

left for cairns at 9:35. arrived 12:00 (cairns time). explored the city. it was sad because sitting on a bench were some Aboriginals, well. it wasn't exactly like that, one was on the bench, the other, on the floor. the one sitting on the bench told the one lying down to get up, but people kept staring. when the ambulance arrived to pick the one lying down up, the one on the bench had had enough of the glances and shouted "whatchu looking at?!". that really saddened me. wel i can't express it here because it's hard to express what i felt at the time. later i went swimming at the hotel pool. peace of mind.

left hotel at around ten in the morning to get on a bus to skyrail. when we reached there, we went on the gondola, soaring above the daintree forest. the view was amazing, there were two creek and the dense mass of the forest was below us. mum (being a typical asian tourist) pointed out on an eagle soaring not far away from us. unbelievable. AN EAGLE. later we walked aroudn the forest for a little bit and i really liek the umbrella trees, their shape is so unique. went to kuranda and tested a few samples of honey at the honey house, went to koala gardens where i stroked some kangaroos, saw a frill-necked lizard go spaz cus it saw us, and a wombat (except its butt was facing us cus it's so lazy z_z). after went home by the scenic train, and took in a sweeping view of the forest. got lost from the train station as well...

got up at aorund 6 to go sailing to the great barrier reef. at first i was liek "oh, didn't get seasick" but like when we went from the brown-grey water of the pier to the blue water of the great barrier reef, it started to get choppy. my head swayed to and fro, seasickness struck me FML. went swimming on the reef at around 12. fed a batfish, haha it was so cute cus when it collected the food, it made a sucking sound, like a vacuum cleaner. SO CUTE!! slept on the boat for about 4 hours, waking up in between. eating pasta and stuff. on the way home i started to feel better after the sleep.

yes, i went to the britney spear's concert on friday night! how did i get tickets? i got a phone call at midnight , thursday night from a friend:
"hello?"
"hey, miranda. sorry to wake you. are you doing anything friday night?"
"um...depends..."
-miranda closes eyes to go to sleep whilst still listening to phone-
"well, i have britney spears tickets, want to come? it's for free."
"ha...what? how did you get your hands on them? um... (WOW!!!) i dont knwo if my mum will let me come..."
"it's alright...sorry to wake you"
"(nooo!) ummm wait, call me tomorrow like after school and i'll let you know. who's coming?"
"oh, like 8 other people."
this went on for about 30 more seconds, then hung up and went to sleep.
6:00am - nts; i usually wake up at 7:30:
*miranda hears mum putting away dishes in kitchen*
*miranda runs out of bedroom and into the kitchen*
"hello honey." mum gives me a confused look ("why are you up so early?")
"hi mum. uhh... well. my friend invited me to britney spears TONIGHT!"
"oh, okay, WOW! okay, you can go then~"
:O:O AWESTRUCK!
so thats how it rolled. went to station & caught 6:39 train to city with han, paul, rose and guy. got there, met up with others, trammed/walked to rod laver arena, bagging britney on the way:
"bahah, she prolly 'borrowed' the yarra river to swim in"
"hey, can't wait to see her shave her head in the middle of her performance!"
"let's throw grains of rice at her!"

Guy sees bikies riding past: "imagine if they went to britney's concert!"
later inside - Guy notices that there's a man who looks like he's part of the bikie gang:
"omg...they did come to her concert"
"yeah. can totally imagine them takign their shirts off and throwing it in circles in the air"
A "LOL" night ! :D well, here's a video that has an insight for what happened that night. sorry for bragging this to you, it's just so exciting cus it was my first big celebrity concert.
spring break memories
To remember the most amazing spring break I have had, here are my anecdotal notes:
4TH SEPTEMBER:
Went to Valerie's house and mucked around and played DDR.
6TH SEPTEMBER:
Met up with Meggy WU at the city.
Went to harbourtown and went windowshopping =)
Then went to her place and checked out her amazing view, popping down to Jackie's, who had an even better view of the harbour.
ahh, it was so peaceful.
8TH SEPTEMBER:
Came to Box Hill to meet up with Joy, Juliana and SHARONCAKES! =D
Geez I missed them so much,
LOL, Joash + dota crew came to LAN @ bh , and I met up and saw them ^^
While me and Joash were talking, Joy was taking photos of us =(
Paul and Sik were in the toilet, doing their hair?
Eric and Erol ran away to LAN before.
Spent the rest of the day with J+J+S.
Juliana went home at like 2.
and we bummed aroudn after that.
Got into trouble at the shops , LOL don't ask -_-
Went home at 4:30 =D
9TH SEPTEMBER:
Got a haircut at Boxhill
For the first time, I had a conversation with my hairdresser In Cantonese =D
and like RIVER FLOWS IN YOU was playing in the background
And he taught me how to use hairspray =]
And he cut my hair in the style I wanted.
28TH SEPTEMBER:
Youth BARBEQUE! HAD a BLAST!
saw BRANDON!
man he looks so different now haha
And I was stuck in the group of all boys for games because Heidi and Reina didn't rock up ;0
(They were meant to be in my group)
and then went home at 4:30.
29TH SEPTEMBER:
Was gonna hang out with Sean, but he had to get his suit done =(
SO Cheryl invited me to her house, I caught 754 and met her there =D
and Sik, Heidi, Cheryl and I hung out at the library and waited for Gary til like 2pm.
Then went to Cheryl's at 2:30 And went home at liek 2:45.
haha what an odd day.
30TH SEPTEMBER:
WENT TO KELIN'S 16th :)
funfun, cus we went on train.
But before train, Paul and I were sitting at the bench, and threw bread.
He threw his hospital sandwich bread at the birds, and they ate every crumb,
When I threw my bits, they completely ignored it!
But I don't blame them , they were MacDonalds bunsss ;)
Went to MC and waited for people.
Off to sportsbar by around 2?
I played PINGPONG against EROL+SIK and I played with Cheryl on my team!
Went to MC station by 5 and caught the train with Joash.
Good D&Ming in the train,
except I think the lady next to me farted, so I kind of giggled.
Don't think Joash noticed. looool (Y)
1ST OCTOBER:
Reina came to my house at about.... 10?
then we went to Chaddy to meet up with Kylie before tribe,
And then we caught the 903 to MACCAS for tribe hangout (Y)
At maccas I had a cheeseburger and an icecream :D:D
After the tribe got together, we went to Joyce's house and Dolly and I took so many photos.
At Joyce's house we finger painted some drawings hahah.
At around 6, Joyce took Reina and I back to my place.
and we hung out as said belowww
(without Joyce, cus she had to go to Chadstone) x]

So, Reina crashed the night before.
Before we slept, we were on the computer and then Heidi called.
Mann, i don't know how long we talked. 1 hour? 2 hours?

LOL man, she was laughing so loudly, I had to hold the phone 30cm away from my ear cus it felt like there was an electric drill sounding in my ear.
Anyways, we ended up sleeping at around 12 + we LOL'd at Kylie's "Y.A" video.

Reina's cell went off twice in the morning, which woke me up. When we could finally be stuffed getting up, we had breakfast, and just bummed around the house. Turns out I got a few text messages,
one from sikk chong at exactly 12:00am: "Happy bday tb nub ^^"
And at 12:02am, joash sent one: "Happy BDAY TBNUB ;D"
Damn, I hate that cursed nickname. Why are they so determined to annoy me?
By 11:30am, Reina and I went to Chadstone and met up with the others :):) Went to food court and had my first sip of V (sorry Sik, on getting coke in ur V) It was alright, not what I expected, Coke still owns cus it has more fizzzzzzz
Went to play DDR, got owned so badly by kelin (he's a tapdancing machine) =( and then some ten-year-old girl had to come and steal the show with her pro steps.
Haha, stopped over at Boost, listened to the guys arguing to which drink was better:
Joash: "We pay 50 cents more and we get THIS much more!"
Paul: "Mine's better cus it's thicker"
This went on for about ten minutes,
and then Sik drank 40% of Paul's drink. -____-
We walked around further, and we saw a massive ice block that had an iPhone ofc, everyone ran to it. Sik tried melting through the block for about 15 minutes and here is what happened: Lady: How old are you?
Sik: I'm fifteen :D
Lady: You have to be older than that.
Sik: Okay, okay, I'm sixteen!
Lady: You have to be at least 18 to get that iPhone.

NICK TRYING TO GET THROUGH TO iPHONE! (kudos, krystal for takign the picture!) 3:15pm
I left Chadstone to go to my cousin's one-month-old birthday party. Heh, I know, same day as my party =( Had to wait at home for my cousin and aunty, cus we had to give them a lift too. Waited for around an hour (damn, i should've stayed longer at chadstone! D:) The ride was about an hour, Carlvin and I jsut d&med all the way there =D Rocked up, and had to take a bunch of little kids to a playground. Spent 20 minutes pushing my little cousin on the swing. We all went home, only to turn in the wrong way and got lost, then I found our way back home (cus I was the oldest, duh T_T)
Went back at about 6:20pm?
(we only left at about 5:45pm) When we went back, I pigged out to the max. I had friedrice, a sausage, noodles, barbequed pork, and a massive steak. A bowl of soup and another bowl of fried noodles. When I finished, for like three hours after, I was bonding with cousins, playing the human teepee (HAHA!) and other raddd rad games. Went to the lavatory and was told to stay inside for about like 10 minutes (so they could hide the cake) When I came out, people were singing Happy Birthday to you and I thoguth they were singing it for the new baby, so I happily joined in, only when it got up to the "to..." part, they said my name and I said "JOHNATHAN" instead (new baby's name). LOL, I had NO IDEA it was for me *SHOCK I wasnt expecting to have a bit of a birthday celebration there! Hehe, fun, we took a few pictures after and cake was so good ;D;D 
and then we killed the rest of the time we had playing BUZZ on the PLAYSTATIONTHREE. I had to squint to see the questions because I forgot my glasses :(
