yes, i went to the britney spear's concert on friday night! how did i get tickets? i got a phone call at midnight , thursday night from a friend:
"hello?"
"hey, miranda. sorry to wake you. are you doing anything friday night?"
"um...depends..."
-miranda closes eyes to go to sleep whilst still listening to phone-
"well, i have britney spears tickets, want to come? it's for free."
"ha...what? how did you get your hands on them? um... (WOW!!!) i dont knwo if my mum will let me come..."
"it's alright...sorry to wake you"
"(nooo!) ummm wait, call me tomorrow like after school and i'll let you know. who's coming?"
"oh, like 8 other people."
this went on for about 30 more seconds, then hung up and went to sleep.
6:00am - nts; i usually wake up at 7:30:
*miranda hears mum putting away dishes in kitchen*
*miranda runs out of bedroom and into the kitchen*
"hello honey." mum gives me a confused look ("why are you up so early?")
"hi mum. uhh... well. my friend invited me to britney spears TONIGHT!"
"oh, okay, WOW! okay, you can go then~"
:O:O AWESTRUCK!
so thats how it rolled. went to station & caught 6:39 train to city with han, paul, rose and guy. got there, met up with others, trammed/walked to rod laver arena, bagging britney on the way:
"bahah, she prolly 'borrowed' the yarra river to swim in"
"hey, can't wait to see her shave her head in the middle of her performance!"
"let's throw grains of rice at her!"
-rofllll.
Guy sees bikies riding past: "imagine if they went to britney's concert!"
later inside - Guy notices that there's a man who looks like he's part of the bikie gang:
"omg...they did come to her concert"
"yeah. can totally imagine them takign their shirts off and throwing it in circles in the air"
A "LOL" night ! :D well, here's a video that has an insight for what happened that night. sorry for bragging this to you, it's just so exciting cus it was my first big celebrity concert.
